Penang Hill is famous for it's funicular railway. Apparently it has the steepest tunnel track in the world? Did you know that it is the longest track in Asia? Who knew! But personally, I think it is all the viewpoints ALONG THE TRACK that make it so special! All those station houses along the way up give spectacular views and access to many hiking trails. So of course, the best way to see it is to hike it!
This cache is placed just a short 1 min walk from the amazing Viaduct railway station. Check out the photos tab in the cache to see pictures! It is purposefully placed right at the intersection of another major trail, which will take you directly to botanical gardens or youth park. It's a really nice trail! Think tiny and magnetic and a little high up.
