Welcome to Horsted Green Park, a new park opened in 2019.
Currently there is a small car park off Horsted Pond Lane (50° 57' 05.59 N 0°05' 18.02 E). There are plans for a future car park off the A22 but it hasn’t been built yet! Please observe the do’s and don’ts of the park (image attached for information)
This is a small series of 7 caches of various sizes to let you explore the new park; there is room in some of the caches for treasure finding or small travel bugs/geo coins. These caches are placed within the boundary of the horsted green park and with thanks to Wealden District Council’s Openspace team for granting permission.
There are so many route options around the park that we have not numbered the caches. These are the first we have hidden and geocaching has been very much a family activity for us; and therefore the caches, their locations, and the clues have been influenced by our 7 and 3 year old, and they are all slightly different. We hope many explorers of all ages have fun.
You might like to take this one to the nearby bench and enjoy the view while you sign the log. There is space for small treasures.
