A little bit of History...
The front entrance was moved to this location to make the entry more of a journey into the resort rather than a straight road it once was. The newly finished stone entrance and plantings in this photo have been through a number of changes. The version with the tussock was nice but many people would stand on them to get their photos taken in front of the stone wall. So it was changed to small stones and now grass to contrast the impressive stone wall. (Photo in gallery circa 2001)
