Here we go again with a souvenir available for New Year’s Eve. It's also the penultimate day of the 3.2.1! Challenge if you’ve started but not quite finished.
The event will be at The Bransty Arch, Bransty Row, Whitehaven CA28 7XE from 09:15 to 10:00 Usual format - geocaching chat, swapping trackables, discussing future event plans, sharing resolutions for 2020 (Knock Murton anyone?), etc. plus, in my case at least, having breakfast. Menus are available on the jdwetherspoon website. I've rated the event as T1 (wheelchair accessible) as there is step free access to the pub and the toilets are on the ground floor although one area inside is up two or three steps - please contact me if this is likely to be a problem.
Thanks to Copeland Borough Council parking is free over Christmas/New Year at the following locations: School House Lane, Senhouse Street, Whitehaven Sports Centre, Copeland Centre, The Ginns, The Beacon Museum and North Shore. There’s another option across the road – if you’re not local Google Street View should suffice. Going by the last couple of years car parks owned by the Harbour Commissioners are likely to remain chargeable and ruthlessly patrolled.
Hope to see you there!
