Geocache Description:


It is believed that on the night of October 11th 1969, the Zodiac escaped into the Presidio through the Presidio stone wall openning at West Pacific Avenue and Spruce Street. It is here, just on the other side of the wall that he may have parked his vehicle. Escaping in either direction on West Pacific would have provided Zodiac with quick access to the Golden Gate Bridge. Whiteness statements and a letter he mailed in November of 1969 to the San Francisco Chronicle back up this theory. You do not need to go into any of the public/private landscaping to find it. Bring a pen to sign the log.
