Geocache Description:

The Blair Park was a gift from J.C. Blair to the borough of Huntingdon in 1897. The portion featured here is the walking trail beyond the gazebo in the recreation area.  The trail is used for hiking and biking. It follows the ridge along Stone Creek upstream from where it meets the Juniata river. There are some interesting things to see in this lesser known park in Huntingdon borough. Especially during seasons without foliage, there are some great views of the Standing Stone Creek and what is on the other side of the water. This is just a short walk out the trail but perhaps there are other unknown coordinates or things left to discover beyond? The park closes after dark. Please be respectful when using the parking area at the historical church. The container is a camo PB jar. Enjoy!
