Geocache Description:


Daudas ūdenskritums ir viens no ainaviski izcilākajiem Vidzemes ūdenskritumiem, kur ūdens krīt pār divām smilšakmeņu kaskādēm. Augšējā ir 0,5 m augsta, apakšējā — 1,8 m augsta. Daudas ūdenskritums atrodas Gaujas Nacionālajā parkā netālu no Siguldas. Tas ir trešais augstākais ūdenskritums Latvijā.

Slēpnis atrodas Daudas upes labajā krastā, aptuveni 35m attālumā no ūdenskrituma, dodoties lejup pa straumi.

Dauda waterfall is one of the most scenic waterfalls in Vidzeme. It is located in the Gauja National Park near Sigulda. With the total height around 2.4m it is the third highest waterfall in Latvia.

The cache is located on the right coast of the Dauda river around 35m from the waterfall heading downstream.
