This cache is placed near the Newhouse Baptist Church in Smeatharpe. In the early days believers travelled considerable distances to meet here. Some, of course, lived nearby, but others came from as far as Tiverton, Wellington and Taunton, many of whom travelled on foot.
You will need to collect some information from the outside of the church and do some simple sums (you do not need to enter the church itself or the graveyard) this will help you to obtain the correct co-ords to find the cache.
First you will need to go to the posted co-ords that will take you to an iron gate entrance, roadside, if you count the number of iron circles on both gates and add both digits of your answer together this will give you A
Next above the porch you will see a stone in the wall engraved, the Baptist Church was founded 1B52 and rebuilt in 185C
Next if you count the number of concrete ball shapes on top of the church including the porch this will give you D
Last but not least if you count the number of windows on the front of the building and the left side of the building, not including the white part of the buliding and minus 5 from your answer this will give you E
By now you should have all the info that you need!
