The Sugar Stash Traditional Cache

This is cache is placed on a small parcel of Forest Service land. The area is rich with wildlife including elk, deer, eagles, woodpeckers, salamanders, frogs, and more. The trail meanders south before turning west to follow the river. There are plenty of places to stop and have a look from the river bank, and down the trail beyond the cache is a good spot of beach access for further exploration. 

You want to enter the trail where the road ends next to a private gate (please do not go past the gate as it's private property). Follow the trail into the woods and stay left at the fork shortly after the trail starts. The cache is hidden on the right side of the trail amid a fallen tree that sprouted to life again...
