Antiche facciate con dipinti di grande fascino e di rilevante importanza, fontane e portali in pietra ollàre, decorati con motivi floreali e geometrici, sono gli elementi che caratterizzano l´affascinante centro storico di Chiavenna.
Numerosi sono i loggiati che si affacciano sul fiume Mera e le preziosità architettoniche da scoprire girando per le strade del borgo; corti e giardini nascosti come la Córt di àsen, rappresentano angoli caratteristici, rimasti intatti nel tempo.
Un centro storico, risalente al XVI secolo, già circondato da mura sforzesche, in parte ancora visibili, che è testimonianza di quanto Chiavenna sia stata ricca e importante al tempo dei grandi traffici con il centro Europa.¹
Lo scorso 30 settembre, inaspettatamente, mi è stata data la possibilità di realizzare una Adventure Lab. Ho pensato allora di dedicarla alla meravigliosa cittadina che si trova alla confluenza delle valli Spluga e Bregaglia, fin dal tempo dei Romani importantissimo crocevia verso l'Europa attraverso i passi Spluga, Septimer e Maloja.

There are numerous arcades overlooking the Mera river and the architectural preciousness to be discovered by walking through the streets of the village; courts and hidden gardens such as the Córt di àsen, represent characteristic angles that have remained intact over the centuries.
A historic center, dating back to the 16th century, already surrounded by Sforza walls, partly still visible, which is evidence of how rich and important Chiavenna was at the time of the great commercial traffic with central Europe.¹
Last September 30th, unexpectedly, I was given the opportunity to create an Adventure Lab. I then thought of dedicating it to the wonderful town that lies at the confluence of the Spluga and Bregaglia valleys, from the time of the Romans very important crossroads to Europe through the Alpine passes Spluga, Septimer and Maloja.
