I am very excited to make a contribution to the geocaching community by creating my own cache.
I have made every effort to place the cache in a location that does not interfere with business, equipment, and customers also using this lot,
This lot and dock was built and is owned by my father (now passed https://www.allenbeyer.com/obituaries/marion-winner ) who moved to the FL Keys in the 1950s.
He made many contrbutions to the community, including donating the anchor (pulled from a Spanish Armada shipwreck (further information found at https://keysweekly.com/42/information-being-sought-on-fishermens-anchor/ and https://keysweekly.com/42/anchor-complete-situated-at-mariners-temporarily/ ) that sits in front of the local hospital.
I spent many many summers on this dock. I have seen it evolve from our personal use dock, a docking location for a houseboat, and dock for fishing charters, to a kayak and coffee center.
