Geocache Description:

I am continuing my Laugh In TV series of caches by placing another one here in North Creek Park!

When I watched Laugh In as a child, I was too young to understand the humor behind the show. I only laughed at the visual humor and slap-stick zaniness. I loved watching the Tricycle Man running into things and falling over. My friends and I would watch the show (as reruns) hoping to see the a Tricycle Man skit. The Tricycle Guy (and sometimes Girl) was the mysterious rider wearing a yellow raincoat that would appear riding his tricycle and crash into something and fall over. That's all the skit was. The skits were short and silly... and we didn't care. But there was one thing about the Tricycle Man that really kept us waiting to see his act and that was the fact that he had his hat pulled down over his face and you couldn't really see who it was. When we watched it (and these skits were just seconds long at times) we did our best to try and guess which actor from the show played him in that skit. We knew Arte Johnson was the Tricycle Man the most. Lily Tomlin, Ruth Buzzi and Goldie Hawn each had a chance to be the Tricycle Woman. Sammie Davis Jr was even spotted once as the Tricycle Guy as he crashed into something and fell over.

Back in the days of glorious Betamax, my friends and I bought a tricycle so we could make our own Tricycle Man videos.

As you look for this cache, think about how you would react if you saw some older person come barreling down this walkway while wearing a yellow raincoat and riding a tricycle... and then bump into something and fall over.
