This cache has been placed near an intersection where moose sightings (and unfortunately, collisions) occur every year. Some locals refer to it as "moose alley." There are wetlands on both sides of the road and the munching there is very popular to alces alces! If you are heading east on Route 2 there is a nice view of the summit of Mt. Washington-but watch for turning traffic! Deep snowbanks may make access difficult.
