Geocache Description:

Jim Bailey aka jkbailey - October 22 1948 - April 9 2018

Jim and Kathy started caching in 2010 and where quickly hooked into the hobby. Jim had a genuine excitement for the find and was also very competitive, especially for getting the FTF but always I good fun. Jim really enjoyed meeting people  who had the same passion and interest. He loved it even more when he and Kathy went on special trips like  MWGB (Midwest Geo Bash) or the annual Belle Isle event. Even just planning and spending the day doing some trails or grabbing a few new ones in the city.

I spent many days caching with Jim or Jim and Kathy together with others as we concord some big projects like the Outer Drive series in Detroit. They where the first cachers I met when I started caching again after moving to Windsor. One of the last days I spent with Jim was in London working on a big chunk of the Chimichanga Los Sombreros series. I was the driver and watch this wonderful man get in and out of my car about 80 times in the day not once complaining and always eager for the hunt and find. This is only a little about the Jim I knew and had wonderful times with in the time I knew him.

When you find this cache and if you knew Jim please share a story about our loved FTF hound and how he made our caching community better or how he touch your life. Feel free to share any pictures you may have as well. We all miss him and our love is always with Kathy who still caches as she can.
