Waimano Falls is a beautiful water fall with several locations to swim, jump into the water and even a rope swing. The cache is located above the falls. Please recover the cache exactly as you found it!!! Too small for most swag. BYOP
The Manana Ridge Trail is not hard at all, however when the trail splits you will find it is very challenging and steep for the last 3/4 mile. After the split, the trail isn't quite as obvious, and you'll need to keep an eye out for marker strings on the trees to follow the correct path (when placed the markers were pink and orange.) I highly recommend sturdy footwear with plenty of traction if the ground is wet because slipping in the mud and falling on your butt is no fun. While it's a difficult challenge, the swimming (at your own risk) is fantastic! The day I went, the water was very deep and the falls were spectacular, however I've heard that it's not as good during dry spells.
