Geocache Description:

At GZ behind the street sign for Peploe Gardens is a burial cairn which dates from the Bronze Age, dating from between 2000bc and 800bc. Nothing remains now but a wee hill amoungst the  trees and it's content haven't been fully explored yet. In Ure's book he talks of ancient cairns in the parish and I wonder if this is one of those. If you look at the link, it shows several further sites up the hill. It's quite a thought that ancient folk lived here so long ago.

The cache is magnetic and not in the trees...it is a SSSI so please take care.
