Gwen and I were doing a maintenance run when we spotted this ruin along the road.
I wonder what stories the early settlers could've told us.
My Grandfather helped build this road many many years ago and told of the back breaking work of breaking up the rocks to form the road.
He may have even known and spoken to the people who once lived here.
Gwen and I both love the history of this area and we place caches at these type of ruins so others can perhaps feel the isolation of living and working in country areas.
