This cache has been placed to mark the opening of the Jacksonville Commons Fitness Area, an Eagle Scout project completed by Jackson Lesan in December 2019. Jackson raised over $18,000 for the project and worked diligently with the City of Jacksonville and his team of volunteers to reclaim overgrown running trails and construct a brand new fitness area with 14 different pieces of outdoor exercise equipment. Large container with plenty of room for Travel Bugs and swag! Please cover the cache well, as it's size makes it an easy muggle target. There is paved parking across the street if you do not want to pull off into the grass.
