Route 66 means something different for everyone. My friend and I drove all the old alignments we could find from Chicago to L.A. and realized that the journey is the destination. It took us a month and we still wished we could have stayed to see oh so much more. This historic motel was one of our stops. It is a good example of restoration and renovation. The owner gave permission for this cache in his landscaping. It is located close to the drive area, so no need to traipse up and over. See the HINT. ...CONGRATULATIONS to budabeli for FTF on 12/04/19
