This cache is placed in an area that has three unique features:
1. There is a Scattering Garden which was completed in 2016. It is one of a few in Ohio. A Scattering Garden is a beautifully decorated area for the purpose of scattering crematorial ashes. There is a gazebo in the center for loved ones to sit and visit. Sometimes benches, plaques, and markers are throughout the garden providing a way to memorialize a loved one.
2. In the older section of the cementry there are replacement headstone markers. These markers are white, tombstone shaped markers placed in front of the original marker. The replacement marker contains all the information the original marker had, only now it is legible.
3. Hopefully you will see the two horses in the pasture next to the cemetery. This cache is named Happy for a horse I knew.
Please be respectful of the area and only cache during posted visiting hours.
