Enjoy Geocaching to Goderich/Guelph on the G2G Rail Trail
This is a letterbox cache and is at the posted coordinates You must bring your own stamp pad.
In 2015, Ontario approved construction of a multi-use trail along the last undeveloped section of the old rail line running from Guelph to Goderich. While there is still work to be done, primarily replacing some missing bridges, the new trail is 127km long and encompasses the 45 kilometre Kissing Bridge trail at the east end and the 13 kilometre Goderich to Auburn Trail at the west end.
With only sporadic caches along the middle section, it seemed like it was time to start filling it in. 19 caches were added, going west from existing caches and ending at Monkton. All caches are intended to be easy finds and include hints just in case you get stuck.
The stamp is NOT a trade item.
