Let's kickoff the NEW YEAR and the NEW DECADE with a geocaching event!
Where: Hi-Vee, 1843 Johnson Ave. NW Cedar Rapids, IA
Please join us and other geocaching friends to begin the new year with an event, a smiley and a souvenir! And, if you are working on the 3-week “3, 2, 1, GO!” souvenir challenge, this will be the last day you will be eligible to earn credit toward this souvenir.
Once inside you will find a Starbucks straight ahead, the bakery is to your left if donuts are your choice, and there are numerous other food items available in the area as well. We will meet in the Market Grill which is located in the same general area of the store.
You do NOT need to purchase anything but it will be necessary for you to come in and sign the log anytime during the hour in order to claim your smiley and souvenir.
Watch for an email around 7:30 am on New Year’s Day. We will post an update with the status of the event in case there is extreme weather.
