“It is a fair, even-handed, noble adjustment of things, that while there is infection in disease and sorrow, there is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humour.”
― Charles Dickens,
A Christmas Carol
This day is inevetably surrounded by hustle and bustle, even if you don't celebrate the Chrsitmas holiday - traffic, shops closing, people stressed - but gratitude and friendship (and good coffee!) are the best ways to combat the crazies, and enjoy the moment with friends.
All of my favorite Christmas stories take place on Christmas Eve - it's such a day of magic and possibility!
A Christmas Carol is among my favorite Christmas stories, where a bitter, sad man realizes the impact of gratitude, kindness and love. I look forward to discussing with all of you which cinematic representation is your favoirte. (and any other christmas-eve related stories
