This is a cache which I hope to get published to coincide with a nearby event that I am co-hosting with Alibags BBH#142 - Berries, Baubles and Holly 2 (GC8FZ0R) https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC8FZ0R
As mobile signal isn't always great on site and the internet may be of help in solving this, as part of the event, I will be providing a short lived alternative method of finding the cache, but the first to find by solving the puzzle below will be recognised by the CO.
Hearing The Twelve days of Christmas playing in a shop the other day, I started to wonder just how many gifts the young lady received and at what point she started to stop thinking how kind and romantic her True Love was, and at what point she screamed “STOP” at him…
Shortly afterwards, the idea for this cache started to form.
The Puzzle
To calculate the coordinates you need to work out the following values:-
a, b, c is the total number of presents that she received from her True Love
d is the total number of Geese a-laying minus the total number of Swans a-swimming
e is the total number of Calling Birds divided by the total number of Drummers Drumming
f is the total number of Partridges plus the total number of Ladies Dancing minus the total number of Maids a-milking
g, h is the total number of Lords a-leaping minus the total number of Partridges
