Murais da Torre #2 - Cascais
O Bairro da Torre, localizado a noroeste de Cascais, teve várias fases de edificação, tendo começado nos anos 50 e continuado durante décadas. Nos anos 70 várias famílias de pescadores foram albergadas em diversos edifícios construídos para o efeito e o aglomerado foi crescendo tendo inclusivé havido fases de requalificação para promover a integração social e combater a pobreza e qualquer discriminação, sendo a última executada durante 2017.
A arte urbana agora presente nas fachadas e paredes de vários edifícios está bem representada com a pintura de murais de grande e média dimensão, sempre inspirados nas características da região mas, principalmente, nas peculiaridades deste bairro social.
Pretendemos com esta série de multi-caches dar a conhecer estes murais, cada um deles com a sua história e mensagem.
O Mural em baixo já foi apagado da parede da direita e substituido por um novo. Aqui fica para memória futura.

Tower Murals # 2 - Cascais
The Bairro da Torre, northwest of Cascais, was built in several stages, starting in the 1950s and continuing for decades. In the 1970s, several fishing families were housed in various purpose-built buildings. The settlement grew and there were even re-qualification steps to promote social integration and combat poverty and any discrimination, the last one held in 2017.
Urban art today present in the walls of several buildings is well represented with the painting of large and medium murals, always inspired by the characteristics of the region, but especially the peculiarities of this social neighbourhood.
With this series of multi-caches we intend to show them, each with its own story and message.
The above two Murals in this listing, were already removed from walls. Here they are for future memory.
