A number of water from Tamagawa Water was diverted for irrigation and daily use.
The branching was done from Suzuki water that branched from Shinbori water, Onuma water that branched from Suzuki water, and Nonaka water from Onuma water.
The area where Nonaka Irrigation branches off from Onumata Irrigation is on the backside of the roadside coffee shop, at the boundary between residential and farmland.
Currently, no water is flowing in Nonaka water. Although there is a sluice gate, it is unknown whether it is flowing during heavy rain.
The cache is located on the road. You can see the sluice gate when you enter the water supply site about 20m.
It's a quiet place, so please look for the cache and look at the sluice gate.

小平市には江戸時代に作られた用水路がたくさんあります。
都市化の流れで暗渠になったり埋められた用水路も多いのですが、2001年から4年間にわたって国有地から市有地に移管され保全されています。
都市化の中で失われてしまわないように貴重な遺構が整備され守られるのは素晴らしいことです。

玉川上水からは、いくつもの用水が、灌漑用、生活用として分水されました。
新堀用水から分岐した鈴木用水、そして鈴木用水から分岐した大沼田用水、大沼田用水から野中用水というように枝分かれが行われました。
大沼田用水から野中用水が分岐している場所は、ロードサイドの喫茶店の裏側、住宅地と農地の境界にあります。
現在は野中用水には水が流れていません。水門はあるものの、大雨の時などに流れているのかも不明です。
キャッシュ設置場所は、道路になりますが。水道用地を２０ｍくらい入っていくと、水門を見ることができます。
静かな場所なので、キャッシュの探索も、水門の観察も静かに願います。
