As the starting point of the Donghaochong greenway where the restored canal feeds into the Pearl River, the rather inglorious southern section is quite a challenge not so much in finding the caches but in crossing the roads which cut across it in this section. Continuity and vibrancy are much better in the middle and northern sections. This area around the foot of the Jiangwan Bridge has a major construction site to the west, and overlooks a logistics and delivery vehicle area. It's likely to be upgraded in coming years when the construction finishes. The ramp to the bridge includes speed bumps to slow down the bike flow (mostly e-bikes as of late 2019), but the speed bumps curiously don't cover the full width so bike speeds tend to be high anyway.
