Den tid er forbi, hvor vi var nødt til at skrive :-) for at sende en smiley. Nu hedder det Emojis, og de indtog for alvor verdenen med udbredelsen af smartphones. Fra man stort set kun kunne udtrykke om man var sur eller glad, kan man i dag sende små billeder af næsten hvad som helst, og listen af emojis stiger år for år.
Hurtigt fandt man ud af, at det var nødvendigt med en standardisering, men til trods for at hver emoji har et unikt digitalt aftryk, ser de ikke nødvendigvis ens ud. Fint illustreret af billedet her under. Apple, Google. Facebook, Twitter m.fl. har hver deres illustration af "thinking face".

Once upon a time, we had to write :-) to send a smiley. Now it's called Emojis, and they conquered the world with the proliferation of smartphones. From being able to express only if you were angry or happy, today you can send small pictures of just about anything, and the list of emojis is increasing.
A standardization was needed, but despite the fact that each emoji has a unique digital imprint, they don't necessarily look the same. Apple, Google. Facebook, Twitter, etc. each has their own version of "thinking face", - illustrated by the picture above.
