This section of the greenway was uncovered a few years after the initial greenway implementation in 2010, and stairs have been added along with a pathway down by the water.
A major element of the Donghaochong canal restoration involved cleaning up the water and controlling emissions into the canal, with direct appreciation of the cleaned-up water possible in these few sections with the walkway next to the water.
Despite the extremely dense urban village located immediately to the west with inviting entrances feeding into Lujing Lu at regular intervals, the area down below the street at water level is usually deserted, possibly because the short sections require going up and down stairs and are not connected.
