Electricity by Candlelight is an album by singer-songwriter Alex Chilton. According to the website Pitchfork, “Chilton’s second set at NYC's Knitting Factory was cancelled in February 1997 when the power went out. But somebody had an acoustic guitar, and there were candles, so Chilton decided to play what turned into an impromptu 17-song set of covers. It was captured on tape, and the resulting Electricity By Candlelight is a wonderful mess.”
This cache is part of the 2020 Winter Geocaching Series at Margaret Lewis Norrie State Park. There are 12 snow-friendly caches at this park. Numbers 1-11 are on a loop; number 12 is near the Environmental Center. Other Taconic Region parks participating this year are FDRoosevelt State Park and Rockefeller State Park Preserve. These caches will be available from January 1 until mid-April 2020.
