Geocache Description:


This cache is part of a series of caches which are placed at or near village halls and community centres. For details and statistics visit the Village Hall Series website Click here

 

The former Killearn Kirk was used from 1826 to 1882, by which time it was too small for the number of worshipers. It is now a village hall, whos owners have the objective of improving and protecting community life of the village. The replacement church of 1882 is still in use, and is next door to the hall.



Look at the metal plaques on the gate posts of the village hall to ascertain your final coordinates:

A=The gates were refurbished for a special event in ???? add digits together and add 3.

B= The renovated village hall was opened in ?B??.

C=The hall was reconstructed in 195C

D & E=The Gates were a gift for another special event on ? of June

F= The year of the special event 19??. Add missing digits together
