Here in Beautiful Kamloops we have Locks of Hope. An Art installation for declaring your love by placing a lock on the art.
Love locks are a symbol of love and commitment. Originating in China and then Rome where it was inspired by the book "I Want You" by Frederco Moccia. It is said if both members of "Loves hand"are not present for the lock placing their love is jinxed.
Padlocks are an expression of hope and humanity connecting people with the unity of Love.
