Warning! Due to be archived soon! 11/13/2020
Enter the park from the north on Kinsman Rd (SR87) for the longer/tougher hike or from the west on Chillicothe Rd. (SR306) as the cache can be reached by the Affelder Link Trail or the Pioneer Bridle Trail.
The hiding area can be very wet at times so wear appropriate for hiking and wet conditions.
This park is also a great location to break out you snowshoes or borrow a pair from the Nature Center when the snow cover exceeds 4". www.geaugaparkdistrict.org/activity/snowshoeing/
Dogs must be leashed at all times while visiting Geauga Park Properties.
Park closes at 11 pm.
UPDATE 4/19/2020: The cache ratings have changed as there are 2 ways to get to this cache and they are not equally difficult in terrain so the terrain was changed to match the trail from the parking lot which is longer, has many more turns, and multiple changes in elevation.
When you still have about 200' to go you will be decsending a slope as you approach to Silver Ceek.
You will not see the cache location from either of the points where you can leave the trail so the difficulty was also raised
