Geocache Description:


This geocache is the first in the area. This area is a safe place to look around and learn about the history of Nuevo Laredo. Near this cache, you can find the monument to the founding families of the city. These families in 1848 decided to settle on the southern bank of the village of San Agustin of Laredo because the northern portion of the town became American territory. Therefore, founding Nuevo Laredo (New Laredo) to remain always with the homeland.

Este geocache es el primero en el area. Este lugar es seguro para buscar y aprender acerca de la historia de Nuevo Laredo. Cerca de este cache puedes encontra el monumento a los fundadores de la ciudad. Estas familias en 1848 decidieron establecerce en el banco sur de la villa de San Agustin de Laredo por que la porcion norte de la villa se convirtio en territorio Americano. En consequencia, se fundo Nuevo Laredo para permanecer siempre con la patria.
