Streaking.
Whether it’s running around with your clothes off or caching for days in a row, there are two categories of reactions, “It’s so much fun!” vs. shaking one’s head. I’m in the latter category. I tried to do a streak once (the caching kind). It should have been 105 days because on day 106 I would be on vacation in a place without caches. I made it to 102.

I just couldn’t bring myself to go caching on day 103. I go slack-jawed with amazement at people who have thousands of days of caching.
The other day I was running a challenge checker for a 30-day streak challenge (GC9448Z). I knew I qualified during my 102 day streak and again during the "31 Days of August" promotion in 2013.

Surprisingly the checker came up with another streak during my first year of caching that was 59 days.
Now I was curious. Did I have any other "accidental" streaks? A little number crunching later I found two others that occurred during lengthy roadtrips to Megas.
Here are my streaks.
- 6/19/2008-8/16/2008 59 days
- 3/22/2009-7/1/2009 102 days
- 7/31/2013-9/8/2013 40 days
- 6/18/2016-7/18/2016 31 days
- 7/21/2017-8/21/2017 32 days
The Challenge
To have 5 streaks of at least 30 consecutive caching days
To be in compliance with current challenge guidelines, streakers-not-like-me who have a streak of 150 days or longer are also qualified.
For all the cachers like me who will never qualify for all the 365 day challenges out there, this one's for you!!
