Geocache Description:

Can you imagine a geocacher named King Tut, and not making one of the places to visit Giza in northern Egypt, the site of the ancient pyramids? The largest of the three great pyramids is the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu. It is the only one of the seven wonders of the ancient world still standing. It has a square base covering over 13 acres and a height of 481 feet and is composed of 2.3 million blocks weighing between 2 and 30 tons apiece. How they were moved into position is one of the greatest engineering marvels of all time, especially with no cranes, bulldozers, and earthmovers. While at this site, you can also see the other two pyramids and the sphinx. While there you could also travel to the tomb of King Tut located in the Valley of the Kings. It is 398 miles South of Giza and was discovered by archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922.

This cache is a park and grab. Parking is available within 5-10 feet of the cache. Permission for the placement was give by the manager of the property where it is located.
