Gradišče or Grmada is 592 meters lower of the two hills named Šmarjetna gora. There might be a settleme from the early Iron Age (8th century BC).
The summit got the name Grmada during the Turkish incursions because the bonfires were lit on it. Another name for this hill is Gradišče. You can find both names on the maps.
Gradišče ali Grmada is located above the part of Stražišče called Kalvarija and is known for three great crosses depicting the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his two sorrows.
