and 7:55pm in the SUMMER months,

*YOU WILL GET LOCKED IN*

We know this from personal experience here.

This is a PUZZLE and the cache is NOT located here at posted coordinates.

You will need to review and research information

at POSTED coords in order to locate the final container.

The "SQ" in the name of the Geocache is to
designate this as a "Spirit Quest" cache.

The series was started in NorthWest Ohio and It has since expanded across the United States and into Canada as well and is designed to differentiate the listing to have more meaning and give time to pause, and reflect on things. Most "SQ" caches are in Cemeteries and/or memorial gardens and are many times limited access by time-of-day or posted-hours. Michigan rules are sun-up to sun-down for cemeteries unless otherwise posted.

Please be respectful of the area and take time to reflect back on the
lives of those that have gone-before us...
and their contributions to life and society as we know it today.

Thank You.

The many faces of Batman

“Always be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. Then always be Batman”

"Always be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. Then always be Batman” is a jocular saying that has been printed on many posters and other medium/media. “Always be yourself” is a very bland motivational saying. But, if you say it differently, it has a slightly different impact: "Why be Bruce Wayne in Gotham City when you can be Batman?"

“Life lesson; You can’t go wrong when you be yourself, if you go wrong being yourself, don’t be yourself, to-heck-with it. Be Batman, or someone else” was cited on
Twitter on August 28, 2009. The expression went viral in 2011. “The most important thing in life is to be yourself. Unless you can be Batman instead. Then be Batman. Always be Batman” was cited on Twitter on March 23, 2011. “Always be yourself in life, unless you can be batman.. Always be batman” was cited on Twitter on May 10, 2011.

Batman of course, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger, and first appeared in Detective Comics #27 (May 1939). Originally named “the Bat-Man”, the character is also referred to by such epithets as the “Caped Crusader”, the “Dark Knight”, and the “World’s Greatest Detective”.

Batman’s secret identity is Bruce Wayne, an American billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, and owner of Wayne Enterprises. Having witnessed the murder of his parents as a child, he swore revenge on criminals, an oath tempered with a sense of justice. Wayne trains himself both physically and intellectually and crafts a bat-inspired persona to fight crime. Batman operates in the fictional Gotham City and is assisted by various supporting characters, including his butler Alfred, the police commissioner Jim Gordon, and vigilante allies such as Robin.

So it's unclear where this quote came from exactly, with the many "sources" of the phrase, but it has taken root in our modern culture to be sure.  It gives a very brief, yet poignant life lesson to "always be yourself", and do what follows that mantra as you do not need to "be anyone else".

There are times when people try to shape us to how they want us, or see us, but its usually best to be ourselves.  That is usually the "best one to be", no matter what.  It really, truly, is what we call "character".

My friend who now resides here was always usually "himself" when it came to dealing with other folks.  Whether it was his family, friends, or people he'd meet off the street.

He was also known for his love of the Caped Crusader, that "made up" world, and the adventures that Batman would have there, fighting crime, criminals, solving puzzles, and whatever happened to him on a daily or weekly basis.

Anyone who knew my friend knows and feels that he was taken from us far too soon,

and he is missed dearly by those who's lives he touched throughout his own time here on this earth.

I'm thankful to have known him in the time I did, and know that his life brought joy to just about everyone

who ever met him and moreso for those who were able to get to know him better.

When he passed, his beloved spouse wanted to share his humor and his

passion for this character and what he stands for, as well as the life lesson that

this phrase represents, with the world.

So whenever life tries to make you into something you're not, just remember:

Always Be Yourself.... unless you can be Batman.

In that case, Always be Batman
