This cache is hidden at the end of a great hiking trail - Anniversary Trail - that leads to an oasis with a small waterfall. There is another cache along this trail but it is really worthwhile to continue to the end. The hike to GZ is 2 1/2 miles one way. It requires some bouldering but it is quite doable.
Please use the trailhead waypoints so you do not accidentally end up on the South Lykken Trail. The Anniversary trail starts on the south side of the wash. I am not sure how this trail got its name as I have not been able to find it on any trail maps or sites. If you know, please let me know in your log. Rocks alongside the trail are marked with white dots to make it easier to follow the trail.
