The late Mary Jane "Mae" West (Aug. 17, 1893 - Nov. 22, 1980) was a famous actress, singer and entertainer whose debut movie was “Night After Night” (1932). She was in a number of films over the years with actors including Cary Grant, W.C. Fields, Randolph Scott and Raquel Welch. West’s career also included roles on Broadway. She was attractive, and controversial for her suggestive references that brought censorship. West has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
