Google maps refers to this road as the "Maryhill Highway" between Maryhill and Cliffs townsite.
The road may be accessed from either the west side from Maryhill or the east side from the John Day Dam access road. The family sedan will work find along the gravel road. Just take it slow and keep an eye out for other vehicle fishing or wind surfing traffic.
