Geocache Description:

This is the site of an old movie theatre opened as the Cinema in 1967 with a single screen. It was operated by Giddens & Rester. The Cinema was twinned in 1980 and renamed the Bel-Air Cinema. Litchfield Theatres took over operations around 1984 followed by United Artists in 1987 and finally Carmike in 1990 thru closing in the late-1990’s.
