Geocache Description:

07 March 2020, 09:30 - 11:45

Update - January 21, 2020: I had a meeting with Garland Parks and Recreation this afternoon and they will supply bags, gloves and trash grabbers! The neighborhood folks are aware of the cleanup efforts and may help out as well.

There is one handicap parking spot at the park entrance off Bosque and plenty street side parking. Walk down the sidewalk into the park and we'll meet up at the big lamp post. There is trash to pick up in the park entrance and along the sidewalk, so folks who don't want to get too dirty can focus on that area (RCP Loop 7). Die hard Geocachers will enjoy the more difficult terrain along RCP Loop 14.

The creek that runs through here is the Toyah creek. There are some blockages which need to be addressed that hopefully can be cleared by the city.

There is plenty of trash along the Toyah creek bed on Loop 14 to keep a couple dozen people busy for a couple hours. There is also a culvert at the park entrance and another a little ways down the sidewalk that need attention. Date may change, so keep a watch on the post and your Saturday calendar open.

MissNinny and I will provide water, and keep an eye out for a weenie roast event after the CITO!
