VS#1700 - Horning Traditional Cache

Fenners1984: 233 finds in five and a half years is good going for a little rural cache like this. Sadly the time has come to archive as I'm unable to get to Horning to replace and my local representative no longer lives locally!
Thanks to all the finders. I hod someone nearer can resurrect in the not too distant future.

Geocache Description:


Horning is a village situated towards the northern end of the Norfolk Broads.


Parking is available nearby but note that the main road has restrictions during summer.


About Village Sign Caches

This cache belongs to the Village Sign Series, a series of caches based on ornate signs that depict the heritage, history and culture of the villages that put them up (generally on the village green!).

The signs can be made of different materials from fibreglass to wood, from forged steel to stone. They can depict anything from local industry to historical events. The tradition probably started in Norfolk or Suffolk and has now spread across most of the country so we thought we would base a series on them!
