The Birdwalk Traditional Cache

This park is somewhat of a hidden gem. It's all the way at the end of Gobbi St behind a residential area. I never would have discovered it if my son hadn't played T-Ball there. The Riverside Park might be best known for its 3 baseball diamonds when parents pack the small park during the summer to cheer on their kids. In addition to the baseball fields there is also a BMX bike park perfect for kids.

What we thought was also interesting and likely unknown to many locals, is that there is a paved path that is wheelchair accessible that loops around the BMX park, and along the river. There are benches and picnic tables to stop and take in the sounds of the river. The path is accessible from the north-east corner and would suggest starting there. Eventually the paved path ends near some picnic benches but continues as a gravel path for some time with many opportunities to exit on a side path to explore.  

The cache is an imposter bird house with a hidden mag-lock. To open you will need to locate the magnetic lock release tool and figure out how to open the cache. It shouldn't be too difficult. Just enough to keep the muggles out. I choose a bird house because the area already has quite a few bird houses sprinkled about so it should blend right in with all the others.
