OAKWOOD GEO-TRAIL
Hopefully having found your way to the last cache, walk a short distance along the wooden fence, keeping well away from the road. Turn a sharp RIGHT at the end of the wooden fence and follow the footpath behind the houses on your left. Do NOT deviate from the main path, until you reach the Geocache which will be on your LHS.

A SPECIAL THANKS to the Moray Council for their permission to place these caches.
QUARRELWOOD WOODLAND PARK
In 1992 Elgin formed the Quarrelwood Woodland Park (QWWP) and Association (QWWPA) to manage this woodland. This partnership involved the local community and both land owners, the Moray Council and Forestry Enterprise Scotland (FES). All work was completed by 2002 and the QWWPA disbanded. April 1 2019, Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS) and Forest Enterprise Scotland (FES) no longer exists. They are now Forestry and Land Scotland, and Scottish Forestry.
KIDS WHO AM I:
- I have seven distinctly different cousins in my family. Unfortunately, three of them only live in the south!
- I eat insects, caterpillars, nuts and seeds.
- Look for me in trees, but not on the ground.
- I am here all year round and a frequent visitor to your garden.
- I nest in holes in trees, including nest boxes.
- A colourful mix of blue, yellow, white and green makes me one of our most attractive and most recognisable.
Please remember to bring something to write with. Thanks
