Geocache Description:

This cache is hosted by one of the world reknowned K6 Red telephone boxes. The K6 was introduced in 1935 to replace the previous K2, both of which were designed by the architect Giles Gilbert Scott. Scott was also the architect responsible for many more famous structures in the UK, including Battersea Power Station, Waterloo Bridge, Bankside Power station (which is now the Tate Modern), Liverpool Cathedral to name but a few. He came from a family of architects, his grandfather was famous for many works incl Glasgow University main building and the Grand Hotel at St. Pancras Station.

This particular K6, like a number of others in this district, is now defunct as a telephone box but has been converted into a book exchange. Previously the site of a now archived cache, this can be either a cache and dash, or be treated as cache number 4A of my Little Bentley Trail.
