Approximately ten years ago I was hiking in Harriman. All of the sudden I saw two guys coming towards me looking a bit crazed and holding a compass. They asked me where they were, which I found strange since they had a compass. Long story short: they were in an orienteering competition. I later googled what orienteering was and happened upon something called geocaching. Tens years later I have found approximately 4600 geocaches and have been to places that I would never have found but for our game. I love geocaching and look forward to finding another four thousand. This geocache is placed approximately 245 feet from the first geocache I ever found: The Golden Mushroom At Congers Lake
