Leading up to the holidays, typically starting the day after Turkey Day, I often hear/see a lot of talk, jabs, memes, etc. referring to dads (usually) as Grinches. They have no holiday spirit; they hate the holidays. This often comes from the ladies that are tackling most - if not all - of the associated shopping. Now I'm not sure if financial stress hits a man harder than it does a woman, or if it's just something in our psyche that dwells on it, or what...but I can assure you ladies, we're not Grinches, we're just stressed. Our hearts are filled as well watching the smiles on the little faces as they open their presents. And no, we're not really going to steal the Christmas tree, lights, presents, etc. It will be there in the morning.
