Hogan's Heroes is my all-time favorite TV show. Hogan's Heroes ran for six seasons from 1965 thru 1971. It was set in a POW camp called Stalag 13 in Germany during WWII. Stalag 13 was run by the blundering German Col. Klink and his bungling but hilarious sidekick Sgt. Schultz. The Allied soldiers were under the command of Col. Hogan, who were POW's in Stalag 13. Col. Hogan and his men's real mission was actually to sabotage the German war effort and aid escaping POW's to England from Stalag 13.
Sgt. Kinchloe was played by Ivan Dixon, while Sgt. Baker was played by Kenneth Washington. Sgt. Kinchloe and Sgt. Baker both played the same role in Hogan's Heroes. Both of them were Hogan's radio specialists. Sgt. Kinchloe was in the first five seasons of the show. He was eventually replaced by Sgt. Baker part way through the fifth season.
